As the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Santa Cruz County continues to rise the City of Santa Cruz is increasing its response by utilizing mitigation strategies consistent with Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Santa Cruz County Health Services Agency guidelines to slow the transmission of disease and protect individuals at increased risk for severe illness, healthcare workers, and critical infrastructure workforces.
These mitigation efforts include operational changes to City facilities and the cancelling or postponing of events and programs starting Tuesday March 17, 2020.
