Homeless Committee Releases its Report and Recommendations

City Council to consider the report and recommendations at its May 9th, 2017 meeting

Santa Cruz, CA - The Homeless Committee issued its report and recommendations today.  The report provides an overview of the local impacts of homeless on individuals experiencing homeless, the community and City operations.  The report then reviews the proposed 20 short-horizon and long-horizon solutions that should, if implemented, help alleviate homelessness and its impacts locally.  City Council will review the recommendations at its Tuesday, May 9th, 2017 evening meeting (starting at 7pm in City Council Chambers).

Members of the public are encouraged to review the report and provide input to City Council either during the May 9th meeting or via email at
