Loch Lomond Recreation Area Reopened for the 2019 Season

LOCH LOMOND RECREATION AREA REOPENED FOR THE 2019 SEASON
Santa Cruz (March 7, 2019) – The City of Santa Cruz Loch Lomond Recreation Area (LLRA) has reopened for public use. Closed seasonally between October and February, the recreation area reopened March 1.
LLRA is operated by the City’s Water Department. Loch Lomond primarily serves as a reservoir for the city’s drinking water. A range of activities can be found at LLRA including boat rentals, picnicking, fishing, hiking, and scheduled interpretive programs. Hours for the recreation area during the month of March are 7:00AM – 7:00PM; hours change monthly with increasing daylight hours.
