The City of Santa Cruz Releases CORE Investments Request for Proposals (RFP)
Collective of Results and Evidence-Based (CORE) Investments RFP #2017HSD03 – CORE Investments
The City of Santa Cruz and the County of Santa Cruz request proposals for evidence-based safety net services that will collectively impact the well-being of the community’s most vulnerable populations. Three-year contracts will be awarded for services beginning in Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-2018 and ending in FY 2019-2020.
To apply, please submit one electronic copy of the entire proposal to the following email: COREInvestments@santacruzcounty.us. Alternatively, paper proposals or proposals on flash drives may be submitted and must be received by the due date at: Human Services Department, Centralized Contracting Unit- CORE Investments, 1000 Emeline Avenue, Santa Cruz CA 95060.
Proposals must be received by 5:00 p.m. on February 6, 2017. Please refer to the HSD website to ensure you have the most updated version of the RFP and instructions.

The final day to submit questions is Friday, January 27, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. An on-going “Questions and Answers” document will be posted to this web page each Tuesday following the release date and until the final posting of applicant questions and answers on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. However, please note there will not be any new postings the week of December 25-29.
An optional Applicants Conference will be held on December 9, 2016. Please refer to the RFP document for details.

In addition to the funding outlined in the RFP, The City of Santa Cruz has set aside 4% of the annual Community Programs budget to fund emerging needs not addressed by CORE Investments. Instructions for this funding will be forthcoming at this website. Please contact Susie O’Hara with questions regarding the City’s set aside fund and application process.
