All walks begin at 9:30 am from the designated meeting point and are approximately 2 hours unless otherwise noted.
March 16: Upper Pogonip
Meet at the Upper Pogonip entrance at the end of Spring Street, off High Street in Santa Cruz. Park along Spring Street-- carpool if you can. We will hike up to the lime kilns and back with the rangers. Easy to moderate terrain with a few steep sections.
March 23: Downtown Tree Walk
Meet at the main courtyard in front of City Hall on Center Street. City Urban Forester Leslie Keedy will wow us again with her vast knowledge of the trees and vegetation in the downtown area. We will walk around downtown, up to Mission Plaza and back. Easy to moderate terrain.
March 30: Skypark (Scotts Valley)
Meet at the metro bus station on Kings Village Road (across the street from the Scotts Valley Library). We will walk over to Skypark, around the greenbelt and nearby areas and back. Easy terrain. Leashed dogs welcome.
Hope to see you soon at WAG!
