Earth Day Environmental Class Project Challenge

Calling all classrooms grades K - 12!  You are invited to enter an environmental project in the Earth Day Class Challenge.  The subject of your project can be any environmental topic.  Some examples of past projects include: alternative transportation, wind power, composting at school and plastic pollution.  The projects are displayed and judged at Earth Day Santa Cruz and the top three projects win cash prizes for their class.  The prizes are $300, $200 and $100.

Earth Day Teen Environmental Film Competition

Go behind the lens of a video camera and make a short film about an environmental issue! Film competition is finished for 2015.

 Earth Day Teen Recycled Fashion Show

The Earth Day Recycled teen fashion show features outfits made from recycled material or outfits with an Earth theme. Fashions are designed and modeled by local students.  The student designers get very creative and use every kind of material from packing peanuts to Capri Sun drink pouches, from newspaper to wine corks.                                         To learn more visit:
