The Del Mar Theatre, located at 1124 Pacific Ave in downtown Santa Cruz, is available on a limited basis for use by non-profit community groups for film festivals and lecture series. The theater contains the 288-seat Grand Auditorium, and two smaller 138-seat theaters, and is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and projection facilities. The theater boasts a grand lobby and concessions area and is fully disabled accessible.
Please note that the Theatre is only available for community use booking by eligible organizations between April 1 and November 15 annually.

2. Complete the Application Form
3. Call 831-420-5150 or email for information on availability
In order to rent the theatre for community use, your group must provide a use fee to the City, management fees to the theater and insurance among other requirements. The Policies and Procedures also contain a checklist for all the steps in the community use process.
