Volunteer Program for 13-17 Year Olds

If your teen is looking for a fun way to gain valuable job experience this summer the Junior Leader Program just might be the right thing. This program is perfect for those not old enough to get a paying job, or for those who don’t have the time to commit to working every day. Teens gain valuable work experience and vocational skills while volunteering at our Summer Camps Program.

Applications are due by May 22 and Zoom interviews for new applicants will be scheduled soon after. Returning Junior Leaders will not be interviewed but are required to submit an application and a supplemental placement form.

Requirements: All Junior Leaders are expected to work approximately 15 hours per week and attend bi-weekly staff meetings. Additionally everyone must obtain fingerprint clearance prior to beginning work with youth.

Mandatory Training Dates: Week of June 15, 2020, specific times TBA

Program Dates: June 22 - August 7, 2020
