Your project address must be within the City of Santa Cruz jurisdiction. If you are uncertain if your address is within the City or whether it is part of the County, please see our Zoning Map and search for your address.  

Project Description: Please be specific and include information, such as:

  • the type of structure and/or use proposed (commercial, residential, industrial, mixed-use, etc.);
  • the existing and proposed sizes of the structure;
  • if any structures will be demolished;
  • if the project requires the removal of trees greater than 14 inches in diameter;
  • the number of any new parcels being proposed and how they will be mapped (new lots, townhouses, condos).
