Prepaid Tags for Extra Set-outs
Residential customers are required to use prepaid tags on any extra set outs of refuse. Customers may purchase the tags in person at the Customer Service office, or phone in to request tags by mail. Customer Service will add the fee to the customer's next refuse bill. Extra set outs which do not have the City tag attached will not be picked up.

Set-out tags may be purchased in advance at the Customer Service Office at City Hall, or you may call 420-5220 to request tags by mail.

How to use your extra tag:

  1. Put your extra trash in a trash bag—maximum 32 gallons, 40 pounds.
  2. Open refuse cart lid and place the extra bag on top, close lid over extra bag to hold in place.
  3. Attach the sticky tag to the outside of the bag, visible from the street.
  4. Only one extra set-out is allowed per week.
