Earth Day Environmental Class Project Challenge
Calling all classrooms grades K - 12! You are invited to enter an environmental project in the Earth Day Class Challenge. The subject of your project can be any environmental topic. Some examples of past projects include: alternative transportation, wind power, composting at school and plastic pollution. The projects are displayed and judged at Earth Day Santa Cruz and the top three projects win cash prizes for their class. The prizes are $300, $200 and $100.
Earth Day Teen Environmental Film Competition
Go behind the lens of a video camera and make a short film about an environmental issue!
Open to all teens in grades 6-12 in the City and County of Santa Cruz. Films are entered on YouTube and will be presented at Earth Day Santa Cruz followed by a big screen viewing and awards presentation.
