Pre-proposal meeting: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on August 7, 2013 at the Park Store, Loch Lomond Recreation Area, 100 Loch Lomond Way, Felton, CA

Project Description:
The Water Department of the City of Santa Cruz is soliciting proposals for a West Side Recreation Feasibility Analysis for the Loch Lomond Recreation Area. The vendor will conduct a feasibility analysis on the possibility of opening the west side of the reservoir property for hiking and mountain biking trails. The analysis will explore issues including general environmental and water resources protection, fire safety, erosion potential, user access, and fee collection, as well as staff requirements for effectively managing, patrolling, and responding to emergencies in the area.
