Water Conservation Programs for Businesses

Downtown Santa CruzThe City of Santa Cruz Water Department provides water to over 1,900 commercial and industrial accounts within the service area, accounting for 920 million gallons per year, or about 26% of total system water use. Commercial customers are billed for water and sewer service based on the volume of water consumed. Conserving water can lower your cost of doing business by reducing your water, sewer, and energy expenses.

The City offers several programs to encourage commercial customers to use water-saving technology to reduce water use.
