The City of Santa Cruz is working with the Metropolitan Transit District (METRO) to redevelop and expand the existing METRO Center site on Pacific Avenue. The current conceptual plan is for a five story, mixed-use, transit-oriented development with the expanded METRO center on the ground floor, along with limited commercial uses; parking on the second floor; and affordable housing with limited office space on the remaining three floors.
