Kevin Vogel Named Interim Chief of Santa Cruz Police Department

Deputy Chief Kevin Vogel, a 23-year veteran of the department, became the Interim Chief effective September 2, 2010. Deputy Chief Vogel replaces Howard Skerry who served as chief for seven years.  Deputy Chief Vogel penned an editorial outlining his vision for the agency and it can be read here.
