Welcome to the City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation Softball page!
All players must be on the official team roster (with signature) to be eligible to play.
- All players must provide photo ID at games when asked by officials or sports staff to determine player eligibility, otherwise player is excused from the game and future play until photo ID can be provided.
- $50 FORFEIT FINE - teams that give 24 hr notice or more will not be charged a forfeit fine, but teams may only use this rule once. Teams that forfeit twice lose eligibility of advancing to playoffs. To avoid forfeits, be sure to sign plenty of reserve players onto your roster!
- See Men's/Women's and Co-Rec Rule Addendum below for details on all home rules. We default to ASA rules if not covered in our home rules.
Here you'll find current league standings, information about current and future seasons, the most recent banned bat list, and our league rules. For more information, call the Parks and Recreation Office at 831-420-5270 or email us.
In the event of inclement weather, please call our rainout hotline at 831-420-5265 #1 to find out if games are canceled. The recording will be updated at 3 p.m. on game day if the field conditions may be in question. Umpires have the authority to cancel a game at their discretion if the playing field becomes unsafe.
