If the City declares an official emergency, the sandbag distribution program will go into effect. Under non-emergency conditions, citizens must purchase their own sandbags.

On Site Help
Staff will establish traffic lanes to facilitate entry and exit from the distribution site. Volunteers will record information to track names, addresses of those who use this service. They will also record the number of sandbags taken by residents.
Limits of Service
In order to ensure that materials will be available to all those in need there will be a limit of twenty (20) sandbags per household. Requests for more sandbags may require a site visit by City staff.
Disabled Access
The City will fill and place sandbags for residents who are physically unable to do so and who cannot arrange for a friend or caregiver to do so. This will be for those in threatened locations who are on the City's existing pack-out list. To request this service, call 420-5530.
Hearing Impaired
