Business License Database

The following files are updated monthly, usually after the 1st of the month:

• Bus Lic 5/1/13 xls - Microsoft Excel file of Business License Data
• Bus Lic 5/1/13 txt - Text file of Business License data in Comma Separated Values (CSV) format, data file is pipe (|) delimited.

Data fields are from left to right:

1. DBA# (Doing Business As number) - internal number used by Finance department to track each business.
2. Business Name
3. Business location address line 1
4. Business location address line 2
5. Business location city
6. Business location state
7. Business location zip code
8. Mail address line 1
9. Mail address line 2
10. Mail address city
11. Mail address state
12. Mail address zip code
13. Owner name 
14. Co-Owner name
15. Attn: To name
16. Start date - reported start date of business.
17. #Empl - Number of employees reported by business.
18. BIA Type - Business Improvement Assessment type
19. BIA Zone - Business Improvement Assessment zone
20. Business Type description
