Describe the Event:

Fire units responded to a reported structure fire at an apartment with the occupant evacuated. Fire crews arrived at scene to find a small amount of smoke coming from an open front door of a 1 story apartment and a bystander advising the fire is believed to be extinguished from a garden hose. The crew confirmed the fire was extinguished and checked for fire extension in the wall and ceiling. The occupant had a small burn to their hand, was assessed by fire personnel and refused any further medical care. Fire Investigation determined the cause of the fire to be a burning candle on a shelf that ignited combustible materials next to it.
