The City of Santa Cruz is prequalifying Contractors (prospective bidders) for the Beltz Well No. 12 - Phase 2 project. The Beltz Well No 12- Phase 2 project consists of construction of a groundwater production well and treatment facility rated for 500 gallons per minute and capable of iron and manganese removal. The scope of work consists of installation of a submersible pump in an existing 16-inch diameter 650-foot deep well, a 75 H.P well pump and motor, chlorine generation system, controls and electrical building, two (2)-20,000 gallon reclaim water tanks, iron and manganese pressure filter vessels, and miscellaneous site improvements including, driveways, site lighting, treated water, storm water, sanitary sewer, electrical utility connections and perimeter fencing.
Prequalification of Prospective Bidder:
In order to be placed on the City’s eligible bidders list, a prospective bidder must complete and submit standard Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) Questionnaire. The SOQ Questionnaire may be obtained from the City’s ebidboard website
