Describe the Event:

At 4:56 PM Santa Cruz Fire was dispatched to a confirmed structure fire in the area of Riverside and Broadway. The actual location was determined to be 801 Riverside. Upon arrival crews found a two story residential structure with 5 individual units. Two of the upstairs units were on fire with heat and fire extending into the attic and surrounding structures. Crews quickly confined and extinguished the fire in the two burning units. Extensive overhaul and salvage was required in the building. All the units were deemed to be uninhabitable either due to heat, smoke, or water damage. A total of 15 occupants were displaced because of the fire. Red Cross provided temporary shelter for five of the occupants.
