Responsible for escorting children safely across streets and intersections at the assigned elementary school.
Intermittent hours during elementary school term excluding school holidays and vacations. School Crossing Guards may work a combination of the hours shown below. Positions also available on an on-call basis.
- Ability to work scheduled hours.
- Ability to pass a background investigation (in order to determine suitability for working with children).
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to act in a courteous and effective manner when dealing with the public.
