City Surface Seal Project Traffic Impacts June 10-14

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — The City of Santa Cruz continues work on the 2019 Surface Seal Project with traffic impacts scheduled for Monday, June 10, through Friday, June 14, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Funded by Measure D and Measure H tax dollars, the project includes rehabilitation of local streets that have experienced significant deterioration.

The June 10-14 surface seal construction locations and timeline are listed at

Intermittent lane closures and limited on-street parking are expected during construction. Sidewalks will occasionally be closed, however, all driveways in the project areas are expected to remain accessible.

The 2019 Surface Seal Project is scheduled to continue weekdays through July 31.
