Recall Signatures Validated by County Clerk

SANTA CRUZ, CA – The City of Santa Cruz has been notified that the County of Santa Cruz has completed their process for validating the signatures gathered by proponents of petitions that intend to seek the recall and removal of two Councilmembers from the City Council. The group, Santa Cruz United Committee Supporting the Recall of Councilmembers Glover and Krohn, met the minimum number of signatures needed (7,938) for each petition.
The City Council will be voting to certify the count and call for an election at their November 26, 2019, City Council meeting.
