Road Closure of California Street at Bay Street on March 6

SANTA CRUZ — The City of Santa Cruz is scheduled to close California Street at Bay Street on Friday, March 6, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. due to Coastal Rail Trail Segment 7 – Phase I Project construction work.


Traffic will be detoured onto Seaside Street and Acadia Avenue for the day. Contractor Graniterock is grinding and paving the street section south of the railroad tracks to Bay Street and should be done by the evening commute.
