The Planning & Community Development Department includes the following divisions and services:
The department has two public counters where a number of services are provided:
Planning, Building, and Payments: Located in Room 101, the planning and building divisions process planning applications, zoning clearances, and building permits. Also, the public can make a number of payments at this location including business licenses payments, rents, transient occupancy tax, and more. This is also the entry location for the Redwood Conference Room.
For those with questions about their long-term or short-term rentals, code complaints, and for general administrative services, the public visits room 107. This is also the entry location of the Large Planning Conference Room.
The department is also responsible for supporting several advisory bodies including the Planning Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Zoning Administrator, and Board of Building and Fire Appeals.
